Trapped emotions can remain in the body for years, even decades, and may influence how we think, feel, and respond to life.
They can contribute to emotional patterns such as stress, anxiety, low mood, or feeling stuck, as well as physical discomfort or tension in specific areas of the body.
Trapped emotions may also affect our ability to form healthy relationships, make clear decisions, or feel emotionally balanced.
Release Trapped Emotions for Animals
In animals, trapped emotions can influence behaviour, emotional wellbeing, and physical comfort.
They may show up as anxiety, reactivity, withdrawal, changes in behaviour, difficulty settling, or ongoing physical issues that have no clear explanation.
Animals can also absorb emotional stress from their environment or from the people they are closely bonded to.
Trapped emotions are stored within the body and remain energetically active.
When the heart feels threatened or hurt, it may use these trapped emotions to form a protective barrier around itself, known as a Heart-Wall.
While this protection can be helpful in the moment, over time the Heart-Wall can become a limitation rather than a safeguard.
A Heart-Wall may block us from fully giving and receiving love, experiencing deep emotional connection, feeling joy, trust, compassion, or even feeling safe enough to be our true selves
